Description
On the symbol and origin of the Inanna-Andara ring:
Inanna is the Lady of Heaven and Earth in Sumerian mythology. The proud Queen of Heaven and Earth who descends into the Underworld to meet her sister, Ereshkigal. At each of the seven gates of the Underworld, Inanna is stripped of her adornments, arriving naked and without pride at the throne of Ereshkigal. The Lady of the Underworld judges her, and Inanna becomes lifeless, spending three days and three nights in the depths of the Underworld before she is reborn through the compassion she offers to Ereshkigal.
Inanna was associated with the planet Venus; one of her sacred symbols is the eight-pointed Star.
This sacred piece of jewelry, Inanna’s star, is our companion in transformational processes. It shows the Light while we descend, let die what no longer serves us, and leads us through rebirth.
The ring is handcrafted in Egypt, made of silver and inlaid with Egyptian Andara crystals.
Andara crystals were used in Lemuria and Atlantis. In Ancient Egypt, they were sacred tools used by priestesses and priests in ceremonies.
Before the last temple closed, the Egyptian Andara crystals were hidden away. For millennia, Mother Earth held them in her body. Now they return, to support us in raising our consciousness.
