Sistrum

The sistrum is one of the sacred instruments of Hathor. You can see the sistrum in the hand of the Queens and Priestesses as they are playing it for the Neteru of Egypt.

With time the sistrum became the musical instrument of all ceremonies creates for the different Neteru, but originally it belongs to Hathor and it is so much more than a musical instrument. It is a SACRED INSTRUMENT to open the Gate between the Worlds. It was used during birth, and during someone's passing away. It was the sacred instrument to help the transition from one state to the other, in all times of a huge change in someone's life. The jingling sound of this sacred rattle was leading the people to follow the path of the Soul, to follow the path of Higher Consciousness.

It is a powerful instrument during ceremonies, sound healings, meditation and it helps us to connect with the energy field of the Priestesses of Hathor.
